Established in 1946 in Mountain Brook, Alabama, The Lingerie Shoppe, an American retailer of women’s lingerie and beauty wear products, has provided its customers with keen insight and good taste by providing the finest labels in lingerie, sleepwear, bras and personal wear from around the world. The Lingerie Shoppe has served multi-generations of discriminating women, establishing its own culture and legacy, its own unique past, present and future. The Lingerie Shoppe has secured its rite of passage, having been entrusted, from time to time to a new generation of Southern women owners, who have always shared the same insights and abilities necessary to maintain its special Southern personality. Betty McMahon and Brenda Meadows acquired the The Lingerie Shoppe in 1988. Ten years later, Betty retired, and Brenda has continued the tradition of providing discerning women, their mothers, their daughters and grand-daughters with lingerie of timeless allure.
